Not only that, you've shown yourself to have the discerning taste and intelligence to realize ahead of the riff raff that 'burlesque is the next hot thing' (TIME Magazine) and that The Boston Babydolls are its hottest purveyors. A Word About "Burlesque"The Boston Babydolls perform bumping, grinding, swinging, jiving, foot stomping, hand clapping, tassel twirling burlesque. We adore and respect the Golden Age of Burlesque (the 1920s to 1950s) and seek to honor it every time we perform. Our dancers do remove some of their clothing, but the least amount of clothing someone will have on are pasties and panties. If you are hiring us to perform in your venue, check your local ordinances. It's up to you to know your local decency laws. We're happy to modify our act to suit (which usually means stripping down to bras and panties), but you need to let us know. While burlesque dance is an essential part of any Boston Babydolls appearance, it's by no means all we offer. True to the spirit of the day, our troupe includes acrobats, magicians, tumblers, jugglers, knife throwers, fire eaters, hula hoopers, and more classic variety acts than you can twirl a tassel at!
